" After a frightening burglary at my home last night, the glass panel in my front door was completely destroyed. I called Lee from LJ Carpentry first thing this morning, and his response was nothing short of extraordinary. Lee arrived quickly, brought all the materials needed, and professionally boarded up the door to make the property secure again. He and his team also helped clear the broken glass and made sure everything was safe — and he did all of this without charging a penny. At a time filled with shock, confusion, and fear, Lee showed genuine compassion, kindness, and humanity. His support made an awful situation feel manageable, and I cannot thank him enough. LJ Carpentry is a business with real heart, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything Lee did today. Highly recommended. "

" Lee completed a pergola for me last Saturday, job done in a day! This was despite the fact the timber supplied was below his acceptable standards and him having to go and replace it. He left the site clean and tidy and even vacuumed the lawn! Great work Lee, thank you. "

" Lee has done an amazing job completing our garden room. Very happy with the finished look! Would definitely recommend Lee , he’s professional and has great craftsmanship. The finished product speaks for itself! "

" Lee has done an amazing job giving our porch and hallway a much needed facelift. All the way through he has kept us informed as to what was going on, which trades would be coming in to do jobs and when. ( all of which have completed their jobs to a very high standard and been a pleasure to have around ) His standard of workmanship and attention to detail are second to none. He has been very respectful of our property leaving it clean and tidy at the end of each day. He and Taylor have worked long hours in challenging weather to complete the job and we are delighted with the result. I would highly recommend Lee and just wish we had known about him earlier. "

" We couldn’t be happier with our new garden room and would highly recommend LJ Carpentry. From start to finish, he was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and clearly took great pride in his work. The quality of the build is excellent, the project was completed in a timely manner, and communication throughout was fantastic. We were always kept up to date with progress, any developments, and what to expect next, which made the whole process completely stress-free. It’s rare to find someone who is so competent, reliable and easy to deal with. We genuinely could not rate him highly enough and would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone considering a garden room. "

" My husband Ben and I both wanted a cabin built in our back garden and Lee was introduced to us as the man for the job. From the initial meet, Lee has gone over and above, with excellent communication all the way through, to the point where everything was agreed and the work began. There were no delays, his workmanship was incredible, his reliability fantastic, along with his team, what a lovely bunch of guys!! The cabin is now complete and we are so so happy, to the point we have had Lee back since to do additional work for us, some decking in our garden, and with what else we have planned for the house, he will always be our first port of call! Thank you Lee for everything, and thanks to your amazing team also, we would recommend you every day of the week! See you again soon!! Cheers! "

" Would recommend. Built garden decking for us. Lee and Taylor are easy to deal with, polite, work hard, organised, clean up after themselves, delivered quality work, checked in regularly to make sure we were happy with work or to ask how would prefer the design. Would use again. "

" I am very happy with the garden room that has been completed today. There has been very clear communication all the way through the project, and the work carried out has been to a very high standard. Lee was friendly, very knowledgeable and provided first class service. I have no hesitation in recommending Lee jones Carpentry too anyone we are so pleased with our new garden room. Thank you Lee You have been amazing from start to finish. "

" Lee arranged to visit our property to quote for some carpentry jobs which needed doing! He arrived on the day as arranged, promptly, to look at what was needed with these arrangements being made by text. Lee then suggested that he could fit in the work over a weekend, which suited us, and he organised the materials with Howdens. He arrived with his helper, Taylor, and they both worked hard together to get the job completed - plied with tea! - both were respectful of our home and the small amount of disruption caused whilst they were working. Both were well-mannered and the work was completed actually in less time than Lee had initially suggested. We are very happy with the standard of the jobs done by Lee ~ and would certainly recommend and use again. Definitely a number to keep safely in your phone! "

" I couldn't be happier with the outdoor kitchen Lee built for us. From start to finish, he was absolutely brilliant. He completed the entire project in just two days, which was incredible considering the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail. The structure is exceptionally solid, well-built, and clearly made to last. Every aspect of the build has been finished to a very high standard, from great ideas about the design, from the timber framework and cladding to the rubber roof as well. You can immediately tell that Lee takes great pride in his work and doesn't cut corners. What impressed me most was his work ethic. He worked tirelessly throughout the project, was punctual, professional, and kept everything tidy as he went along. The finished result has completely transformed our outdoor space and looks even better than we imagined. We've already had lots of compliments from friends and family, and everyone comments on how substantial and professionally built it feels. If you're looking for a skilled carpenter who delivers outstanding quality and genuinely cares about the finished product, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lee. A fantastic job by a true craftsman. Thank you, Lee! "

" Lee carried out our loft conversion work and was unbelievably good at his job from start to finish. Very knowledgeable, professional, and always helpful throughout the project. As we were managing the build ourselves, Lee made the whole loft project much easier and far less stressful for us. His workmanship and attention to detail were excellent, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Highly recommend Lee to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable carpenter. "

" Absolutely brilliant experience with our LJ Carpentry on our loft extension. He was early every single day, never let us down, fully involved in every aspect of the job ( even the bits that wasn’t his responsibility), he kept us updated throughout the entire process, even the building inspector couldn’t talk highly enough about his work! He priced our job fairly, and never pushed for unnecessary cost not needed, saving us money where he could. The work ethic was one you don’t see anymore. What was meant to be a 6-week job was completed in just 10 days with the highest level of quality (and I’m a perfectionist! ) He’s completely changed my perspective on builders. Couldn’t recommend Lee and Team highly enough! Thank you for everything! "

" Lee from LJ Carpentry has recently completed bespoke carpentry work at our restaurant, Kohinoor Indian Restaurant, building custom arches that have completely transformed the space. Even before plastering, painting and final finishes, the structure looks fantastic. The craftsmanship is solid, precise and clearly done by someone who takes pride in their work. Lee was professional, punctual and just got on with the job — no drama, no chasing, no shortcuts. In the middle of a refurbishment, that level of reliability is priceless! Very pleased with how this stage has turned out. "

" Lee’s workmanship and work ethic are incredible. So pleased with the end results of the builds he completed for me. And he went above and beyond when an issue with another job (nothing he was involved with) started to go wrong, he was able to use his contacts to help. "

" Following recent work for an extension i can highly recommend LJ Carpentry. Lee was available for discussions throughout the project and regularly confirmed choices and options with me before proceeding. He was extremely helpful in putting me in touch with other tradesman as the project progressed and had oversight until completion. I’m really pleased with the outcome which exceeded my expectations and would personally recommend him to anyone who is looking for a reliable company who has creative vision and style. Thanks again Lee "

" We’ve just had our loft fully boarded with a brand-new loft hatch installed by Lee from LJ Carpentry, and we couldn’t be happier. Lee really knows his job – he’s clearly very experienced and it shows in the quality of his work. The whole job was very smooth from start to finish, everything was clearly explained, and there were no surprises at all. On top of that, the price was very good for such a high standard of work.
